The Barry Lopez Foundation for Art & Environment organizes original fine art exhibitions in collaboration with contemporary artists, which are available to appear in up to six venues each. In addition to art museums and galleries, exhibitions can be adapted to natural history and science museums and other public venues.
Our flexible, access-oriented structure and modest exhibition fees help address the fiscal challenges faced by many institutions and allow for a diversity of communities to engage with recent work by nationally recognized artists. By forgoing a dedicated exhibition space, the Barry Lopez Foundation’s structure is designed to be nimble and efficient, minimizing staffing and operational costs to direct its resources toward the support of artists and institutions while reaching a broad, national audience.
