Janet Biggs’s Warning Shot was a critical early inspiration for the Barry Lopez Foundation and has been adopted as our Visual Mission Statement; her installation Imagination and Desire in a Northern Landscape helped launch our exhibition program.

The Barry Lopez Foundation for Art & Environment organizes fine art exhibitions and creative fellowships addressing climate change, biodiversity, habitat loss, and our changing relationship with the planet.
