From Here to the Horizon: Photographs in Honor of Barry Lopez. Fifty leading landscape photographers have generously donated a collection of over 90 prints in honor of Barry Lopez. We are raising $40,000 for the publication of a fully illustrated catalog to accompany an upcoming exhibition organized with the Sheldon Museum of Art. Contributions to this project will be matched 1:1 and all donations over $1,000 will be acknowledged in the publication.

Ron Jude, Black Ice with Glacial Melt, 2019

Ron Jude: 12 Hz and Janet Biggs: Imagination and Desire in a Northern Landscape. We are raising $25,000 each to support the Barry Lopez Foundation’s inaugural traveling exhibitions. Your contribution will allow us to offer each show to up to six venues across the United States without cost and support groundbreaking work about the climate crisis and our changing relationship with the land by two innovative contemporary artists.

Ten Thousand Birds by John Luther Adams. We are raising $10,000 to underwrite the recording of Adams’s remarkable composition by the ensemble Alarm Will Sound. This audio landscape will accompany the upcoming exhibition, Messenger: Avian Life and Climate Change in 2023/24.
